The word's much better than our articulation of what we think it says. We just want the exact truth, nothing more, nothing less. As a servant of the Lord, I don't try to prove or disprove anything or anyone. I just want them to know the truth. That's it. 2 Timothy 2 and verse 17 and 18 will start right there, and round and round she goes, the word stops, only God knows. Their word will eat as death a canker, of whom is Hamenius and Felicius, who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is passed already, and overthrow the faith of some. Father, this word is serious today and help us to bring across just like you want it in Jesus' name. And everybody said, Amen. Now, as we know today, the resurrection and the rapture means the same thing. And I'm sick of hearing this. Word rapture is not in the Bible, but the catching away is the word Bible's not there. The word Trinity's not there. We don't want to be a Pharisee, gagging an ad and swallow a camel here today. I can tell you this much the Lord will come. I don't know when. If he comes on the 23rd, like many speculate, they're setting a date. And if I stand here and say he's not going to come on the 23rd, I'm setting a date. The fact is nobody knows. But he will come. That is a fact. When? No one knows. But I'll tell you, we got the birth pains of the coming of the Lord upon our hearts. And I have some nuggets today I want to give you today. And let's look at Romans 16, 17. So these two dudes said the resurrection was passed and it overthrew the faith of many. To repeat, the resurrection is a rapture. Same thing. Paul preached the resurrection. His main message was the resurrection. Of course, there had to be a crucifixion in order to be a resurrection of Christ. So the resurrection validates a crucifixion, and vice versa, which is the very heart of the gospel. There are those that teach that, well, it's all been fulfilled in 78 days, the revelation and all the prophecies have been fulfilled. No, that's not correct. Nothing's been fulfilled in the book of Revelation yet. We're still in chapter 2 and chapter 3. So these false doctrines is what Homenius and Felicius were espousing, and they overthrew the faith of many in the church. It's my responsibility, no matter how abrasive I might seem sometimes, love compels me to hold the garden like it is and keep us on the straight and narrow. Now you gotta study. How many have got a Bible? But then the Holy Spirit's the teacher. And sometimes I cut some slack because some people are not in a position to receive the revelation of the scripture like others have. I understand that. But then after 20, 30 years, you need to grow up. Amen. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen, like grandma used to say. But in Romans 16 and verse 17 now. Amen. I beseech you, brethren, mark them that cause division and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them. Now, what did Paul preach? What did Paul teach? Well, he taught the full gospel to include the rapture. Avoid them that say anything contrary to what the apostle Paul taught. If that's abrasive, you're wrong. Paul wrote most of his letters from jail, and he wouldn't get voted in today as a pastor.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_01But one of the greatest apostles to ever live. And yet he said, mark them that cause division and try to bring in false doctrine into the church and avoid them. Love compels us to draw the line here and stay on the straight and narrow. Now I want to give you a few hints that reveal the coming resurrection. For example, back in the Old Testament now, which is still valid today, Isaiah chapter 57 and verse 1, I discovered this verse about a month ago, and now I get to give it to you. Praise the Lord. The righteous perish, and no man lays it to heart. And merciful men are taken away. None considereth that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. The righteous is taken away from the evil to come. Ding ding. Let it soak in now. The ones on the earth that are right standing with God will be taken away from evil that's coming. That's the tribulation. Just a hint. So someone's going to be taken away. And someone's not. The question is who's going to be taken away and who's not? Well, I might get into the qualifications to be taken away if anybody wants to know. And I might not. I might hold that over till tonight. We'll see. But there's a hint in the coming resurrection. And it simply means a catching away. Brother Thompson taught it this way many years ago: an emergency catching away at the last minute. Man, that clock on the wall is about one minute to 12 here now. And it's going to be a wonderful time and a very sad time at the same time. Now, in the Psalms 90 and verse 10, many years ago I was preaching in a church and it was so bound up that I couldn't even breathe. I mean, that's tight. Satan had that thing. And I told the Lord, I'm done preaching. I'm not going to do it anymore. It's not worth it. It's not worth it. So I get up and read this verse of scripture. And I barely got it out. The days of our years are three score years and ten, and if by reason of strength they be four score years, that's 80 years old. Yet is their strength, labor, and sorrow, for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. When I said that, that church came into what I call a holy roller setting. I mean just come unglued. Pentecost. And God said to me, Son, I'm running things. I'm sorry. I'll fly away, oh glory, I'll fly away. Somebody's going to fly away. Now there's a truthful meaning here. When we physically die, our inner man's going to fly away into heaven if you're saved. To await the resurrection. Isn't that simple? But secondly, when the rapture comes, we're going to fly away. I said we're going to fly away. We're going to fly away. And then in the Song of Solomon, that's a little book there. It's a love story. You gotta read that sometime. Because Jesus is in love with us. Song of Solomon 2 in verse 13. Little nugget here. The fig tree puts forth the green figs and the vines with the tender grape, give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. Come away. The ones he loves, come away. Oh, there's gonna be a wedding one these days, everybody. And we all like to eat, right? There's a nugget. Come away, my love. My fair one. That's a love sick person right there. Jesus is lovesick for his church. He wants us to be with him. He said in his father's house were many mansions. He goes to prepare a place for us, and if he goes to prepare a place for us, he will come again and receive us into himself. That where he is there, we we shall be also. That'll take place when we fly away. Praise God. Then we go to Matthew 24 and verse 36 today. Matthew's gospel. Brother Monty right on target again today as usual. But of that day and hour knows no man. No, not the angel of heaven, but my father only. So it's futile to speculate as to when this resurrection is going to take place. But we must preach a resurrection because the apostle Paul preached it. And Jesus taught it. He said he was a resurrection. So it's part of the gospel. And if a church doesn't teach and preach this, then they're not really adhering to the gospel. This is a gospel church. That is the gospel. Well, it's a gospel truth, somebody said. Then to back that up in Matthew 25 and verse 13. Another verse. Quoting the Lord. Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man comes. We all know. Besides that, Africa's eight hours ahead of us anyway. So in regards to the earth, impossible to figure out. We just need to be ready. Because Jesus said, Be ye ready for such an hour as you think not the Son of Man comes. Now, if I wanted to speculate today, I could tell us all when he's going to come. A day and an hour that we all think is not going to come. Like the five foliest virgins. No oil. The bridegroom came and they were left behind. Oil is a type of the Holy Spirit. Any church that doesn't want the Holy Spirit is not a New Testament church. Any supposed believer that doesn't want to be born again is not right with God. I should say any sinner that doesn't want to be born again is not right with God. Secondly, any believer that doesn't want to be filled with the Holy Spirit is not right with God. Because that is the New Testament pattern. We have no right to change that for anybody, lest we be cast away. You see, we need to fear God a little bit. And it's a good thing. Because it's the beginning of wisdom. But now in Luke's gospel 18 and verse 8, St. Luke. Alrighty then. I tell you that he will avenge them speedily, nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, shall he find faith on the earth? So when Jesus comes back, he's looking for faith on the earth. And we could say faith that resides in believers. Because the truth is not everybody has faith. Now these hot shots teach that, well, everybody gets a measure of faith. No. Only those that hear the gospel are exposed to saving faith. Well, uh, what in the world is faith? Hebrews 11, 1 is the beginning of a definition. Of course, the faith definition is endless, but if I could just bring it down to common sense here, faith is a substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen. So faith, the faith substance is connected to certain evidence. Without faith, which is a substance that comes from God when the gospel is received and heard, even then you must respond and activate your faith that God gives you when you hear the good news. And that brings an evidence. That's even tangible at times. For example, once you become a Christian, you won't be like you used to be. If there was no change, you heard the word, but it wasn't mixed with faith, so it didn't help you any. Now, we have some examples here in the Bible, and I might be on this tonight. We'll see. Genesis 5 and verse 24 for the sake of time. I had to cut this back because it was just too much for one session. Unless Liz is listening and she wants to hear about an hour. Genesis 5, 24. Everybody saying Enoch. Now Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him. What a truth. He walked with God over 300 years. And then God decided to take him to heaven for a while because he uh had other reasons he needed him to go to heaven. Love to come back in the tribulation to prophesy. Enoch is still in heaven eating fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy. I don't know what he's eating. Uh probably angel food. I don't know. Maybe he don't have to eat. But he's still there in the human body and hasn't died. Enoch walked with God. So apparently, ting ding, we need to learn how to walk with God. If we're gonna get out of here. And I looked up the word. Well, let's go to Hebrews 11 5 for a clarification here, and then I'll give you a little definition of a word. Hebrews 11 5, then, is what we call the great faith chapter in the New Testament. Now, faith, excuse me, by faith, Enoch, everybody say Enoch. Okay, we're on the same individual here, was translated. Now that word translated just simply means transferred from point A to point B. Much like the church is going to be transferred from point A to point B to see point C. Point C is Christ. In other words, another definition is Enoch changed sides. He changed sides. For what it's worth. So all these little things help clarify the scripture. Enoch was translated or transferred that he should not see death and was not found. Let's look for him. Because God had transferred or translated him. For before his translation, he had this testimony that he pleased God. Now I've got to ask us all a very serious question. Do we please God? And I've got to admit there are times I do not please God. But you've got to understand, I'm not like I used to be. And it doesn't get understand exactly what I'm gonna be. But I'm heading a new way and a new road, and the end's gonna be eternal life. It's imperative that the church on the earth understands we must walk with God and please God. The only thing that pleases God is faith. There is nothing in us that pleases God other than faith in God. That's the reason Jesus said, have faith in God. If you have the Son, you have the Father. If you have the Father, the Son, you have the Holy Spirit. It doesn't have to be that way. God doesn't want it that way. But the sad fact of it is there are many that are lost and going the wrong way. That's the reason the church is still here to try to snatch somebody out of the fire at the last minute. Because eternity is a long, long time with no end to it. We need to please God. It should grieve us when we don't please God. We need to be good repenters. Where'd you get the idea just because you ask for forgiveness that you're forgiven? No. Repent, and then forgiveness comes. Repent means I'm going to do a 180. I'm going the way of the world, the way of sin, the way of the devil, the way of the cane, the way of the flesh, and I hear the gospel, and by faith I turn around and give my life to Christ, and I'm going the other way. And only a few find it. But if you're here today, you've got an opportunity to get on the straight and narrow and build one of the chosen free few that's going to make it into the ark. It's very serious. I can't make it serious enough. We had three people in our fair country. Our county died this week. Car wrecks, this and that. Where'd he go? Was there any evidence of faith? I think there might have been in a couple of them, but I don't know about I don't know. Only God knows for sure. But we can see. See, there needs to be some evidence that we're walking with God. Now Abraham walked before God. So whether it's before God or with God, the fact is we need to be walking with the Lord. And not the devil. Now the devil will paint a pretty picture to people, but it's a lie. It starts off as, well, there's pleasure in sin for a short season, but then the X comes. And Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy you and everyone around you and everyone you're connected to. That's the leaving that leavens up, and you can't stop it. You cannot control sinning. We're not told to fight against sin. We're to fight the good fight of faith. Jesus fought the sin battle for us. But Enoch pleased God. The only way he could please God was walking by faith. Amen. The only way we can please, listen, we can't please God by enough good works to be good enough. Even though if we're a Christian, we should have some good works. It should be a natural byproduct of love for God. No good works, I would have to question the person's standing and condition in the spirit, wouldn't you? It's not judging, we're just inspecting fruit here. And I gotta admit, there's some fruitcakes in our county. Galatians 5, 16, then. So the apostle Paul has given some instruction, and really that's what the Bible is for: correction, instruction, etc., and righteousness, that we can be equipped to be overcomers. But it is a process. So very simple. Walk in the spirit, you'll not fulfill the lust of the flesh. It's a Christian's instruction. He's talking to the Christians, the believers, not the world, not the unsaved. He's talking to the Christians, walk in the spirit, which lets us know that we could walk in the flesh. And oftentimes do sad to say, not God's will. Turn your back on that because it leads the wrong way. It separates from the fellowship with God. But if we just learn how to walk in the spirit and be led by the Spirit, which takes some time to figure it out. And even then it seems to be always a little bit different, but we all know that's the Lord drawing us and leading us, don't we? Then that's an evidence that you're saved. So we are to walk in the Spirit, and we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Now, people are people, and I'm sure there are some here that's having problems with the flesh. And when I say the flesh, I'm talking about the old nature that's inside your body. This body is a vehicle of expression. We walk in the spirit, there'll be some fruit produced, Holy Spirit fruit. We walk in the flesh, which is a choice, then we're going to get into sinning. Sin is not the problem. What causes a person to sin is the problem. And the church doesn't address it because they don't understand it. Well, you got it from Adam. But the last Adam came to fix this mess. Even then it's still a process, but you've got to get started. God's grace is available, but you've got to get on board. And you've got to accept Christ as your Savior and Lord to get on board. Or you're not going to make it. Why? Because Jesus said in John chapter 3, you must be born again. Not optional. So you've got to give your life to Christ while your heart's still beating. And if you don't, there's no hope. So we have hope beyond this world, beyond this life. In Romans 8, 14 for a backup scripture here at the end of the day. As many as led by the Spirit of God, they're the sons of God. Amen. Now I'm going to make a statement now because Calvinism is wrong. And basically, Armenianism is also a little off. Even the genius Dake was off on a subject. Well, who are you? You decide. Dake taught you could be born again more than once. And you cannot be born again more than once. Now you can be a lost son in the hog pen, but you're still a son. You can come back to the father if you don't die in the hog pen. But if you die in the hog pen, you're not going to make it. So you're going to rise and come to yourself and come back to the Father. Because the Lord said, This was his son. He was lost and now he's found. And so you cannot be born again more than once any more than I can be born again in the flesh, more born of the flesh more than once. But just because you're born again, there are certain conditions to make your calling election sure. Life pleasing God, walking in faith and sending out the works of the flesh. Because we're talking about who's going to make the resurrection. This hype for grace is wrong. Believers are predetermined to become like Christ. But it is not predetermined, just who will receive Christ. Now I'm going to say this again. Because God does not pick and choose this one going to heaven, this one going to hell. Nothing anybody can do about it. No, God doesn't do that. Who served the world may come right now? I get in.
SPEAKER_00But first, you want to take a moment. Now it's powerful message.
SPEAKER_01God has all foreknowledge about everybody. But it doesn't make people do anything. You must choose. And it's my responsibility to lay out the options here. You choose this way, you're going to be blessed, and heaven's your home, you choose this way, you're going to be cursed, and the flames of fire is your home. I have no right to change that for nobody. I've refused. But on the other hand, if you choose right, there is rejoicing among the angels in heaven. Those rejoicing over one sinner that repents. Who's rejoicing? Angels do not know salvation. They don't understand. Only the redeemed are already there, waiting for resurrection, rejoice. Grandma rejoices when grandson gives in the Christ. I think Jesus rejoices. Father God certainly rejoices. And so believers are predetermined to become like Jesus. That's what it means. You're saved to become like Jesus. And I gotta admit, God's got a big job on all of us. But he begins the work, he's gonna finish it. Praise God. But secondly, to repeat, it is not predetermined just who will receive Christ. The Lord leaves that choice up to people. You must choose. You must choose. That's all. We can't work our way into heaven, can't be good enough to please God by good works or self-effort or anything that we can do other than accept what's been done for us as a free gift. We simply receive the gift of eternal life when we surrender our life that's going wrong to Christ Jesus and make him Savior and Lord of our life. If it's not Lord, you're never gonna make it. That means he tells us what to do in our life. He directs our life. We turn our messed up life over to him. Can God take broken things and fix it? Certainly. Yeah, on the potter's wheel. Well, we must surrender then. And you know, we must choose to repent. Not godly sorrow leads a person to repentance, isn't that right? And people want to feel good. But I tell you what, sometimes it's good not to feel good. Godly sorrow sets in. You cannot be saved until you become sorrowful for your sinning and all sins against God. That's the reason when people come to the altar, give their life to Christ, they cry. There's a lot of tears have been shed on that little altar right there. Tears of regret. Things we've done wrong, things we should have done that was right, and we didn't do that. See, sin is not just doing stuff wrong, it's not doing what's right. That's sinning too. What are we gonna do? We're guilty. There's only one answer. You gotta surrender your life and bow the knee to Christ Jesus. He takes us just like we are. You gotta come to the end of the way where there's nothing left but God. That's where I came many years ago. I said to myself, I need God. That's what I need. I asked my mama when I was a kid. I asked her, who is God? You know, mom wasn't a Christian, but she knew what Christmas meant basically, and this and that. Who is God? That's what I asked her. Who's God? She says, Well, if I remember I was on about five. She said, Well, God's a creator. Amen. She knew that much. At least they wouldn't lit raising an atheist home. No such thing as atheists, they all call out to God when they're dying. Who is God? I didn't say, Mama, is there a God? No, five years old. Who is God? Can you tell me? And then at 12 years old, I went to a Billy Graham Crusade in Kansas City, Missouri. Anybody know where Kansas City is? Billy Graham. And when the altar call came, I felt the Holy Spirit drawing me. Felt it. And nobody goes down the front with me. Nobody. My family goes, Well, I guess we better go. They're on a conviction that you're running from it. You cannot run from God. But he got me. The Spirit. Everybody say the Spirit. See, if the Holy Spirit is tugging on some of you right now, I know He is. Good. You can't be saved without that. It's a miracle birth that's going to take place. Out of the darkness into God's marvelous light. Whom you have redemption through his blood, even to forgiveness of sins. What a deal. Free. It'll change you. Twelve years old, God called me. I had to walk away. Went in the military. When I came out, I was a wreck. Raised in a nightclub. Went to the military. A worse wreck. But after I got in the military, about a year goes by and I get under conviction. This preacher started coming around. I didn't like him, you know. But after a while, I was trying to work and I had a woodworking shop, you know, and I started thinking, is that preacher coming around today? I kind of like that guy, but at first I didn't like him. Because there's a different spirit, you know. I was going down the road one day, driving her van, and I tell my wife, I said, you know, I think I'm gonna go to church Sunday. Yeah, I'm gonna go to church this Sunday. And she goes, What?
unknownYeah. That's right.
SPEAKER_01I said, Yeah, I've made up my mind. I've been wrestling with this for weeks. You get miserable. Miserable. You know, when you're getting ready to get born again, man, you get miserable. Because Satan's fighting for your soul, see? And sin separates you from God. There's only one answer. The cross is your answer. The cross of Calvary is our only answer, our only hope. Glory to God. I said, hon, I'm gonna go to church Sunday. Now you get to understand I didn't want nothing to do with church. I hated gospel music. Didn't want to be around, I didn't want to go to church because I wasn't I wasn't a Christian. But God was calling. Do you understand that? And the three goes, Well, you're under conviction. And I go, what do you mean? What do you mean? Under conviction. Then I find out, she'll forgive me for saying this. She's downstairs, can't hear me, okay? She said, You're under conviction. Then I found out she was a backslidden Pentecostal. Tongue talking, backslidd and Pentecostal. Yeah. So we go to church, sit on the back. That's where sinners sit. On the back. Anybody on the back seat? Good. Good. Keep moving closer. I'll get to the altar next, you know. And I can feel the Lord, it's the love of God, but yet you feel bad, but yet you feel good. It's a double talk, isn't it? And the preacher goes, Well, let's sing a song. Somebody may want to come. They were singing just I am or something like that. And I asked Trevia, I said, Don't you think we need to go to the altar? She said, I can't. And I said to the Lord, that's what I'm gonna do. This battle's going on. Do you understand what I'm saying? This battle? You remember? And just like Satan's fighting with some of your souls right now. But he can't win if you'll just choose correctly. Glory to God. And I said, Lord, what am I gonna do now? And the preacher said, Well, sing another verse. Somebody still may want to come. And I asked, treat me again. Don't you think we need to go? And then she broke. Started crying. She broke. I didn't have to say anymore. I grabbed her and we walked down the aisle, and I was saved the moment I moved. Everybody in church started crying. My mom, sister, dad there. So I started crying. But it's a joyful cry. Get down the altar and I didn't know what to pray. I talked to God all the time when I had a hangover. God, please let me live. I promise I'll quit. But next Friday night came right back on the sauce again. God can deliver you from all sin, but you got to break the habit. You got to break the habit. Break it. How do I break the habit? The cross is your answer. The power of the Holy Spirit. It'll take time to get rid of the habits. Years ago, down in the Arkansas church, they'd preach hell every Sunday morning. Get everybody in the hell and get them saved. Well, the preachers preach against cigarette smoking. Oh, and then in no air conditioning, the windows were open, and so the preacher wouldn't look and they'd throw them cigarettes out the window. Of course, the kids were out there catching the cigarettes. God loves us, you know. I don't know how God puts up with us, but he does. But you know, that was 1977 that I was born again. And it's getting gooder and gooder every day. And one year after that, we had a fire and lost everything. And then God called me to preach when I was watching Billy Graham again on TV. Couldn't get away from Billy Graham. When God called me to preach, I almost went up to the ceiling of the roof of the house holding on the chair. It was unknown. Fire. I'm not talking little dabadoo, I'm talking about a burning bush of Moses thing here. There are no preachers in my family. I'm a black sheet, the only one. Except those that are gonna come on after me. The only one. You listen to somebody today that's called direct from great God Jehovah. It's bittersweet. That's what I do. Let's go to 2 Timothy 4.8. Let me explain a few things before we get an altar comedy. You Christians, are you have you ever regretted giving your life to Christ? Are you glad you did? So many are lost. So many. So many plan church. Folks, we've got to please the Lord. Walk with him every day. I know we make mistakes. But we're in the grace of God. Look, I'm almost Baptist here in a way. I mean, if God saved you, isn't he big enough to keep you saved? You can't keep yourself saved anyway. You can't even save yourself. All we do is say, okay, I'm just along for the ride. That's it. I'm along for the ride. I'm not bailing out. Of course, there's a few requirements. It's the same for everybody. God's fair. It's more than fair. Now let me explain a few things. 2 Timothy 4, 8, and then we're going to quit here. Henceforth there's laid up for me a crown of rejoicing, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day. There's a day coming, and not me only, but all them that also that love his appearing. Everybody say appearing. The Lord's going to appear and resurrect all believers. Amen. Do you love his appearing? That's good because if you don't love his appearing, there'll be a question in my mind if you're going to get out of here. You decide. Then in 1 Corinthians 15, 51, very familiar today. I don't have time to delve into all this, just a nugget. I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. Now we shall not all physically die, but we shall all be changed. So dead in Christ will be resurrected, and then we which are alive and remain will be will be changed, and we'll all be translated, transferred up to meet Jesus in the air and to go in the New Jerusalem. That's what's coming. The body will be transformed. And then in 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 16 and 17. And I'll give Rick Renner some credit on a word here that helped expand my meaning a little bit about this subject. In verse 16, the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout. The voice of an archangel. I heard, you know, we've got some people that don't believe in getting very loud and praising the Lord that are real quiet. And the other ones will be sitting over there in the corner. And the angel will say, Well, they think they're the only ones in heaven, so be quiet. The fact is, heaven's gonna be a lively, noisy place. You can't keep a child of God quiet when they're standing before the throne of God Almighty, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. You talk about holy rollers. Woo! We're all gonna get a good talking to when we stand before God. Might as well rejoice. Praise God, because God's for us and not against us. The trump of God and the dead in Christ should rise first. That's those that are in the grave, all right? The body. And then Renner brought this out, and then we which are alive and remain should be caught up. Caught up's the rapture. Caught up's resurrection. When's it gonna happen? I don't know. Except before the tribulation begins. That's all I know. Now we watch your alive and remain. The word alive and remain, that's a physical being alive. I've always looked at it that way. Just assuming that the person was born again. That's true, it wasn't wrong, but here's a little addendum to this. Alive spiritually. So Renner brought up the point that not only are we alive physically, but we are alive spiritually toward God and active in the kingdom of God. There's a lot of Christians now that are not alive spiritually, that are dormant, lukewarm, worldly, backslid, denies the power of God. Those people are in danger of missing out on the blessed hope of the church. Do you hear what I'm saying? So we've got to take inventory today. Child of God, are we alive toward God? Does he move our emotion? Or does some stupid football game move our emotion? I was at a volleyball game in Yo Show. Zilla was playing. And uh I'm not much into sports unless I win. But uh too old for that now. And the game is really close. And I was starting to get nervous myself and biting my fingernails. Getting into the sports. Well, it's okay to go to the football game and shout like an idiot. Shout your hair down, and some of them cuss the blue streak, that's not good. But you know, we dare not give God second best. I mean, we're gonna get, if we're alive toward God and looking for the blessing over the church, looking for the resurrection, looking for Jesus to come, why are we so down and out and why can't we not give God promise when it comes to the house of God? Because we're getting out of here. The only reason that we're numb is we're not spiritually alive enough, not like enough. Heard God help us all. Folks, we need to get with it now. Get on fire for God in here. We need to be more witnessing, even more than Charlie Kirk was. I can tell you right now, that young man went into glory. But if we deny the Lord, he's gonna deny us. We cannot deny the Lord. Now that word alive. And remain. So we are in the flesh, we're here, we are alive physically, and we are alive in the spirit. Amen. And then the word remain, I'm not doing this justice today, we're through though. Alive and remain. Now, Rick Renner said the word remain denotes a remnant that's gonna get out of here. A remnant. Those that, oh God, those that remain alive. Not just physically, but spiritually. If it was ever a time for an old-fashioned Holy Ghost revival, it is today. And how long is it gonna go on before we get under fire for God? We remain alive toward God. And if we're not alive toward God, are we walking in faith? No, I don't think so. We've cooled down here, the world's got it to us, Satan's got it to us, religion has led us astray. Listen, we're gonna get under fire for God. The first thing is give your life to Jesus, number one. And then if you do that, you need to join hard to the church because it's a reasonable service. Can God count on you? You need to get water baptized. You need to begin to believe God and seek God and fill you with the Holy Ghost and fire. There are just no options here. We're gonna fail if we don't get another fire for God to be filled with the Holy Ghost. That includes tongue talking and all the gifts of the Spirit and everything else that God has. That's a New Testament church. I know there's a lot of garbage and a lot of fakes out there. So what? There's the real deal. Anybody that denies the Holy Ghost's power is not spiritually alive. Fact-checkers, fact fact-check that. You gotta be saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Even Wigginsworth taught if you're filled with the Holy Ghost, there's no room for the devil to get in. Well, that was right or wrong, it sounds good to me. Last scripture today. 1 John 3, 2. You're a good bunch to preach to. I'm not preaching at you, I'm just preaching to you. I feel this way, you know. No matter what motive message it is that comes from this vessel, if you're right with God, can't you say amen? Can't you say hallelujah? Praise the Lord. Yeah, that's right, preacher. And if you can't, are you alive toward God or not? You see, the word should feed us. I mean, the big mistake in the church is that when the word begins to feed feed believers, they suddenly think they're called to preach. No, I'm afraid not. The word should feed everybody, it's hungry. But if you're not hungry, you're not alive toward God. So, would this seem that God be correct then and saying that only the overcomers are gonna make the resurrection? And those that don't overcome are gonna miss it, even though they're Christians. Are they right about that? Well, here's what I teach, and you can do what you want with it. Everybody's gonna make the rapture that's born again and in the will of God. That's it. That's what I teach. You can do what you want, but if you're in the will of God, it all fits. So we're in the will of God today. Are we in the will of God today? What is God's will? Number one, that you become born again. We'll start there. So many go to church and think they're saved, they're not saved. Because they're trusting in something they're doing rather than what's been done for us on the cross. So many say, Well, I was baptized, it won't save you. Well, I was raised a Christian, nobody's raised a Christian. You gotta be born again to be a Christian. Your preacher dad can't get you into glory. See all these things we have to confront is just to remind you, to remind myself that we need God because he's gonna come, whether we believe it or not, he will come and not tarry, the Bible says. 1 John 3, 2, beloved, now we are the sons of God. It does not yet appear, say appear. Well, we shall be, but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him. We'll see him as he is. That's when he appears in the clouds to take his church, the body of Christ, to heaven. As simple as I can make this thing. Folks, it's gonna happen. They laughed it on Noah. Oh no, it's not gonna rain. Nah, nah, you're crazy. But when Noah and all the animals got in the boat, God shut the door. I said, God shut the door. So nobody could get in and nobody could get out. That's what I call eternal security. But the storm killed everybody and lifted Noah up and saved him. He had to be in the boat. That was the condition. That boat is Christ.
